Country: USA , Language: English, Runtime: 98 min
Rated R for sexual content, brief nudity, some drug material and language.

"Ms. Wright Penn plays Pippa in Rebecca Miller's new comedy of manners, and her character's age matters because she's having a midlife crisis and a marital crisis all at once. Her much older husband (Alan Arkin) has moved them from New York into an upscale Connecticut retirement community, and that's just for starters. Pippa doesn't break down but she's acting out in strange ways without even knowing it. Ms. Wright Penn has made the women she has played memorable, but nearly all were secondary. In "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee," Ms. Miller gives her center stage, and she makes it her own." --Karen Durbin, The New York Times
